After falling behind from an early goal, the boys went on to put in an Impressive display with two goals from Odhran McMullan before half time, the second one being a well struck free kick that left the goal keeper little chance.
The second half started much the same with a success of chances missed before Shay Butler rounded of the scoring

18th Newtownabbey v Northend Youth Friday 5th October 2018
After a slow start and going one goal behind, the boys began to find their rhythm and two goals from Shay Butler sent the Blues in at half time lead of 2-1
The second half started a lot better for the Blues. A goal from Odhran McMullan, one of his three, and another one from Shay Butler, giving the two boys a hat-trick a piece. The scoring was finished off by Luka Laverty to gives the Blues a good win. This was a great team performance from a team moving in the right direction.

Northend Youth v Chimney Corner Friday 28th September
This was a very tough game for the Northend boys as they went down to a very well organised side. The Baby Blues battled through a first half with some good football but went into half time with the score at 0-1
Northend conceded another goal shortly after the break. Some good saves from Northend keeper, Shea Bartram kept the Blues in the game. Mervin Wilson hit the crossbar with a well struck free kick, but it was not to be Northend's night, a Chimney Corner went on to score another three goals before the final whistle.

Northend Youth v Crusaders Strikers Friday 21st September 2018
A hard-fought win against a well organised Crusaders team. Northend Youth found themselves going into the lead with a goal from Conal Morgan before Rory McLaughlin made it two, a few minutes later. Nikodem Byqek added a third before half time.
The second half saw two more goals from Shay Butler and Luca Laverty, to give the Blues a convincing win in a good all round performance from an improving team.

Barn United v Northend Youth Friday 7th September 2018
Northend Youth travelled to the Valley Leisure centre on Friday night for a match against Barn United in the Irish FA's small sided games tournament. Playing in their first competitive match, the young Blues acquitted themselves well, going in at half time all square.
Into the second half, Barn United took the lead early in the half, before Conall Morgan pulled the Blues level. As play flowed from end to end, it was Barn who scored two late goals to take all the points.
