the Michelin Club filled to capacity, a very successful night concluded the end of yet another season.

End Of Season Draw Posted 20th May

All tickets for the end of Season Draw featuring a pair of tickets, travel and accommodation to any

Manchester United home game, must be returned to John Devlin by Friday 21st May. No tickets will

be accepted on Prize Night, Saturday 22nd May.

George Best Community Cup Posted 15/5/10

The Northend United Youth U13 Team will be taking part in the pre-season George Best Community Cup

in Belfast from Friday 16th July to Sunday 18th July. Coach Glen Speirs will be busy preparing his team

in late June onwards for this prestigious Pre-season tournament with several Cross channel clubs and

twelve from the Southern Ireland leagues participating.

BEAYIL Player of the Year - U11s Posted 08/05/10

Adding to another successful season for Northend United Youth FC, Zack Herbison has been

voted Player of the Year for the U11 League in the BEAYIL. This prestigious award was decided

upon by the referees association and awarded for performances in each match. Congratulations

go to Zack from all connected at Northend United Youth.

On receiving the trophy today, Zack commented " It was a great team effort that enabled me

to accept this award and thanks goes to all my coaches without whom, winning this award would

not be possible"

End Of Season Prize Night Details Posted 01/05/10

All boys are reminded that their Prize Night forms are to be returned to their coach by Monday 3rd May

to allow catering details to be finalised. Annual trophies also need to be returned by this date.

Belfast City Marathon - 3rd May 2010 Posted 30/4/10

Northend Mini Soccer Coordinator and U12 Coach, John Devlin is running the relay in the Belfast City

Marathon on Monday 3rd May, to raise money for charity. Everyone at the club sends best wishes to John.

U10s Shield and Cup Success Posted 29/4/10

Northend United U10 Babies have just completed a unique success in winning both the BEAYIL Shield and

Knock-Out Cup in their first year of competitive football. On both occassions, Barn United were the beaten

finalists, with Northend winning 3-1 and 1-0 respectively. This comes on the back of the Northend U10 Team

also finishing runners-up in the League to cap a very successful season.

Coaches Jimmy Montgomery, Kirk little and Ryan McLaughlin have done a tremendous job in moulding

what were players from Northend's Mini Soccer Academy last year, into this year's victorous BEAYIL 11-a-side team.

End-Of-Season Draw Posted 24/4/10

Northend United Youth have just announced their end-of-season draw to raise funds for the club. With the top

prize of a pair of tickets for a Manchester United home match, Northend are anticipating a high demand for

these tickets. The draw will be made at senior Prize Night on Saturday 22nd May @ Michelin Club.

Fields of Life - Uganda Posted 16/4/10

Northend United Youth FC, in conjunction with the Newsrack in Ballymoney Street, are appealing for all boys and parents

to give their old football tops and kits to John Devlin, who will package these together for shipment to Uganda to support

Ayr Tournament Update Posted 12/4/10

Northend United Youth have had a very successful Scotland Cup Easter Tournment with their U13 and U14

teams both winning their respective Plate Finals, with the U13s defeating Carrick Colts (from Scotland)

3-0 in the Final and the U14s defeating Cummock Juniors 4-0 in their Final.

The respective trophies were presented to the Northend captain's Jamie Speirs and Ryan McIllroy by

Alan Rough, ex Scotland, Hibs, Patrick Thistle and Celtic goalkeeper.

Go-Karting Grand Prix Posted 12/4/10

The Northend United Youth Coaches Go-Karting Grand Prix Finals Night came to a successful conclusion when

Glen Speirs just pipped John Devlin to the post on the last lap, to win this Tournament for the U13 team.

Rodney Campbell was a close third followed by Timmy Devlin in fourth place.

Well done to Glen!

before departing for the Belfast - Stranraer Ferry. They will return to the same location on

Sponsored Climb of Slemish Posted 15/3/10

Upwards of 80 boys , coaches and parents took part in the sponsored climb of Slemish on Saturday 13th march.

An enjoyable time was had by all with may saying they couldn't wait for next year's climb.

All teams will be supplied with Training Wear, incorporating a Training jersey, shorts, socks and a raincoat, for start of January latest. Cost per person is estimated at £40 and this covers the cost of each players initiials and a club crest on the training jersey

Formation of U12 Team -1998 Posted 18/11/09

Northend United Youth are now pleased to announce the formation of their 5th youth team for U12's, for boys born in 1998. The team is due to start playing in the Belfast and East Antrim Youth League on Saturday 28th November with an away match against Upper Ardoyne.

Coach John Devlin is appealing to any boy who wants to play competitive football to come to training each Monday night at Ballymena Rugby Club, Eaton Park, 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Scotland Cup Easter Festival - 9th / 12th April 2010

Northend United Youth have just announced that the club will be attending the Scotland Cup Easter Festival

being held in Ayr, Scotland form Friday 9th April to Monday 12th April 2010.

It is envisaged that all age groups will be represented with one team at U10 Level, two teams at U11 Level and one team at each of U13 and U14 Levels.

Mini Soccer Recommences - 26th September

The much acclaimed Mini Soccer Academy recommences on Saturday 26th September 2.30 - 4.00pm @ Dunclug Primary School Pitch. This continues for a period of 10 weeks before stopping for a winter break and will recommence again towards the end of January for another 10 weeks.

This Mini Soccer Academy is open to all players who are unattached to other clubs.

Training Resumes @ Eaton Park - 5th September

Training will resume at Eaton Park for all teams from Monday 5th September onwards. Cost for training is £3/night

U10 and U11 6.30pm - 8.30pm each Monday night

U13 and U14 7.00pm - 9.00pm each Monday Night

Northend United Provide Ballboys for Milk Cup - 29th July

Northend United are providing Ballboys from their U14 and U13 Teams for both matches in the Milk Cup @ Ballymena Showgrounds on Wednesday 29th July.

1st Match kicks off at 6.00pm and is an U16 Quarter Final. Boys are requested to meet at Showgrounds Reception @ 5.30pm.

2nd Match is Germany Vrs USA in Elite Section and kicks off at 8.00pm. Boys are requested to meet at Showgrounds Reception at 7.30pm.

Northend United Youth Prepare for 2009/10 Season

Following on from their most successful season to date, Northend United Youth Football Club, Mid-Antrim's fastest growing Youth Football Club, have now announced plans for next season.

Three new teams at U10, U11 and U12 will make their debuts in the Belfast and East Antrim Invitational Youth League. The U13 team will also participate in the same league and will be hoping for a very successful season to add to the silverware they received in the 2008/09 season.

The U14 team will be making their debut in the South Belfast Youth League where they will be playing against some of the finest teams in the country.

The U14 team will be looking to build upon their most successful season to date wherein they won a treble of trophies in the Belfast and East Antrim Youth League in their age group.

The highly successful mini soccer academy will commence in September, for 6 to 9 year olds, under the direction of John Devlin and his team.

Pre-season commences on Mon 27th July for the U10, U11, U12, U13 and U14 teams. As always, Northend would encourage anyone interested in playing in these teams to come along to pre-season training where an open door policy is always maintained.

Registration Evening

Northend United Youth Football Club are holding a Registration Evening at The Michelin Club on 22nd July from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. All players selected for these teams are requested to come along and sign up for the 2009/10 season.

U10's and U11's must bring a birth certificate or photographic evidence and 4 passport photographs.

U12'S, U13's and U14'S must bring photographic evidence and 2 passport photographs.

All Passports and Birth Certificates can be collected from the Michelin Club again on 24th July 7.00pm to 9.00pm
