Club History
Formed in 2003 in the North of Ballymena, Northend United is now a flourishing youth football club with over 100 boys, fielding three teams in the Belfast and East Antrim Youth Invitational League, one team in the South Belfast Youth League and having an over-subscribed mini soccer academy, catering for children from five years to nine years old.
Northend United Youth Football Club has participated for a number of years in the East Antrim Invitational Youth League at various age levels. In the 2009/10 season, teams at U10, U11 and U13 will participate in this League. In addition to this, a team at U14 will participate in the South Belfast Youth League for the first time.
In the 2008/09 season, Northend United's most successful to-date, the U13 team had a clean sweep in the East Antrim Youth Invitational League, winning the league championship, only loosing one match all season, and also having won both available Knock Out Cups. The U12 team also won the Rosebowl Tournament.
Northend United Youth Football Club is also a very progressive club and have attended the Liverpool Easter Cup in 2006, the Preston M&L Easter Tournament in 2007 and 2008 with three teams participating in each year. In 2009, the U10, U11 and U12 teams have participated in the Ayr May Day Tournament and the U13 team reached the final of The Cork Cup at the end of May, loosing by the narrowest of margins to Glenavon U13's in the final.

2) Northend United Youth have just announced that the club will be attending the Scotland Cup Easter Festival being held in Ayr, Scotland from 9th to 12th April 2010. All teams will be represented.
3) Northend United Youth's Mini Soccer Academy will play friendship matches against Carniny's Football Development Centre on Saturday 14th November at Dunclug Primary School's pitch
